| Robot Charactertic | Hi! This is Fateme Sadat and Dina Khalili. We have participated in STEAMCUP Iran from NEDAYE ZAHRA Middle School. We have made a Waiter Robot. Our goal of making this robot is to help people who suffer from Parkinson disease. We’ve used Dynamixel AX-12 servo motors and CM-530 controller to build an arm. The arm has 5 degrees of freedom. Patient commands the robot using a sensor box including 4 sensors. The sensor box can be installed at various points in the table. The position of each dish is a specific place. The patient can select each dish by putting his/her hand above the desired sensor. We have also made a Pan and Tilt arm with two degrees of freedom and four bar mechanism. By getting commands using 2 keys of CM-530 the robot would vertically guide the drink to the patient so the drink won’t pour on the table. Thanks for your attention! |
