Robot Charactertic | Hi! My name is Reyhaneh Mehryab from Nedaye Zahra middle school. Stroke is the third reason of human’s motion defects in the United States and Europe. A person who had a stroke, suffers from weakness in the organs of the body. We had made an exoskeleton that consists of two parts. The first and second parts are coupled by a controller. Motions of the 1st part is imitated by the motions of 2nd part. There are three circles with a LED in the right side of each that specify a predetermined pattern for the patient to move the arm toward them. A sensor is located in the center of each circle that when senses an object causes to illuminate the other LED at the left side of circle. These LEDs will only light when the arm of patient is in correct configuration. The robot improves the lost ability of patient and reduces human movement errors. We have used 2pcs of AX-12A and one IR sensor in 1st part and 3pcs of AX-12A, 3pcs of IR sensors and 6pcs of LEDs in the 2nd part. The robot is controlled using CM-530 controllers.
