| Robot Charactertic | iDY-SmartBin This is cute project in your office or home. It is smart bin. The bin can detect the garbage above it and open its lid automatically. You put the garbage into the bin without touch or open the lid. The smartbin can close the lid automatic also after finished. Everybody can build this smartbin with the iDuino R3B (the arduino ATmega328PB) board, Dynamixel Shield board, GP2Y0A02 distance senor (20 to 150cm range) and a Robotis's AX-12A actuator. Technical features : - Controller is INEX's iDuino R3B board (compatible with Arduino UNO R3 but more features) work with Dynamixel shield board fromn Smile Robotic. - Lid of bin mechanic was contructed from an AX-12A actuator and some mechanical parts - The Dynamixel shield helps the iDuino R3B for interfacing with AX-12A actuator easier. Baudrate is 57,600 bps. for communication with iDuino R3B board. - Detection range is 30cm. (default in code). The iDY-Intelligent Arm robot was created by Teerawut Jitpromma and Awiruth Wicharew; they are engineers of Innovative Experiment (INEX - www.inexglobal.com and www.inex.co.th) About iDY : iDY is the prefix name about iDuino R3B microcontroller board and the Dynamixel shiled board projects.
