Robot Charactertic | This is a think out of the box concept for STEM project. Several times in sleeping, human turn on the air condition until next morning and turn off by timer. After that, human get on to turn on the fan for keeping cool and saving the electricity cost. But in fact most people still need to sleep continued. If get on the bed to turn on the fan, somebody cannot back to sleep. This project may help them. Open-TempFan project consist of air-temperature sensor, OpenCM9.04 controller board and Fan motor driver board. The sensor MCP9701 is attached with a resistor that applied voltage to it for heating. When aircon is operated, the cool air will blow to the resistor and sensor. Temperature will lower than 27 degree. The sensor sends the sensing voltage to analog input of OpenCM9.04 board. The controller board does not action anymore. Until the aircon stop, no cool air blow to sensor. Sensor's temperature will be increasing. After the temperature is reached to 27 degree, OpenCM9.04 board will detect and drive the fan motor board. The fan is operated to blow the wind to human automatically. Human can sleep continue. No need to get to turn on a fan after aircon stop by timer. That is a short happy time in the morning. Technical features : - Controller is OpenCM9.04 - Detect temperature by using MCP9701 temperature sensor IC - Fan is respresented by a small fan motor driver board with blade.
