Robot Charactertic	Hi! We, students of Farzanegan 7 High School, have made a Chemist SCARA Robot. We have learnt about Robotics and STEM in PishRobot’s RobotisKidsLab classes. We have participated in Junior Demo League of Iranopen 2016 Robocup Competitions and Khwarizmi Innovation and invention competitions using this robot. The robot acts like a human Chemist specially to perform repetitive or dangerous tasks. The robot is designed to have an easy and convenient access to the lab supplies around it. Our robot is a SCARA arm with 5DOF (including the gripper) and it can pour liquid solutions into the test tubes with the accuracy of ±5mm. As a sample program, the chemist robot picks up the pipette and pour the Phenolphthalein indicator into the test tubes by a dropper. So by changing the solution’s color in the test tube from transparent to red (amethystine) the solution could be recognized as an alkali, acid or neutral solution. In the next phase we are going to detect the color of solution by a color sensor and show the result to the users on a display. All servo motors are DYNAMIXEL AX-12. To make this robot we inspire from SCARA robot arms. 2DOF have been added for the gripper movement. Thank you for your attention!
