Robot Charactertic | Hello! We've learnt about Robotics during PishRobot's STEM based Bioloid classes in our school. We have made an IR Object Tracking Robot. We've installed 4 IR sensors in each corner. IR is the abbreviation of Infrared. The transparent LED, emitters IR ray. So if the IR ray impacts an object, it returns and the black LED receives it. We calculate the difference between outputs of the neighbor LEDs and find the maximum of differences, the robot turns in the direction of the 2 LEDs with the maximum output difference. So it can move diagonally and recognize objects in all coordinates. It is better that its plate be like a dish antenna because it would be more precise. This is an IR sending object so all its installed LEDs are transparent. Now it moves toward the direction with most IR rays. There are some parts in our robot that we have not explained about. In future, we would add more capabilities to our robot by them. Thank you! Robot Characteristics: Controller: CM-530 Actuators: 2 x Dynamixel AX-12A for Pan & Tilt movement Sensors: 4 x IR Sensors Power Supply: LIPO 11.1 Battery IR Object Characteristics: Several IR Emitters are placed in a ball and powered by a battery |
