Robot Charactertic | Students Name LOH Huey Yong, a 12 years student from e@Robotclub Bandar Teknologi Kajang, under coaching of Ms Jervin from Intel 8 Robotics. Robot Name ‘The Rudderless Ship’ Robot Product OLLO Explorer Kit Robot Characteristics My name is Huey Yong and I am from Kajang, a popular satay town in Malaysia. In this robot presentation, I speak in Mandarin as this is my core language and I am confident you can understand what I am trying to express from the translation besie my slide. Below is my explanation of my robotics project : Traditionally, the ship controlled the direction using rudder, but today I designed a ship which can control the direction using a pair of geared motor instead of rudder. I used OLLO Explorer Kit to build this ship, it have radar, windscreen, turning wheel which I am confident the appearance is very nice. I am using the remote controller with IR Receiver to control the direction of the ship, the ship can be rotated clockwise or counter clockwise to drive the ship sailing in all direction easily. It is not demo or prototype, but it is truly sail above the water. Let’s see my video and I hope you like it.
