His Robot named Automatic Vending Machine took the 1st place in Demo league of PishRobot's Educational Robots Olympiad 2015. Let's watch a video of his robot... Hello, I'm Ahmad Mohtasham. I've made an automatic vending machine. It includes a section for advertisement. This is the fixed part and this section is a movable part witch shows 2 posters. The other section is tank that is very important and this part is its door that works with servo motors. This section is its card reader that specifies the validity of the card. I've designed 1$ and 2$ credit cards. I've programmed the price of each can for 1$ and this price can be changed by programming that it can be a variable and its value can be changed. If I activate this sensor it means I want 1 can and this LED lights up and if I activate this one, it means I want 2 cans. Then, if I want 2 cans and I put 1$ card the monitor of the controller shows 1$<2. It means that the value of the card is less than 2 cans. But when our request is equal with the credit of the card, the robot starts working. To make it suitable for blind people, when we request 1 can, it beeps once and for 2 cans it beeps twice. For deaf people, for 1 can this LED lights up and for 2 cans, the other one lights up. If I put 2$ card and request for 2 cans, 2 LEDs will light up and 2 cans will come out. Then if machine's tank is empty and I put 2$ card, the monitor of the controller would show %0. It means that its tank is empty and the credit of card wouldn't be charged. To repair the machine when a problem occurred or to make changes to it, I've put a special door. For its security, I've made a special security card that when I put it and push the button, the door unlocks and we can open its sliding door, to make changes or to fix it. To lock the door, I close the door completely and pick up the card and it locks automatically. For advertising I've built a fixed part for ads that could be stick here. But these ads change by some gears. To improve its operation I've built a stopper (mechanical limiter) that it removes the programming errors. So the operation of this section would be better.
