2015 STEAM CUP Online Competition
Official Rules & Regulations
Objective
We expect the STEAM CUP to be a chance to build on the foundation of robotics, cultivate professional level competence,
and find potential professionals to lead the future of robotics.
Requirements
There are no special robot requirements to enter this competition but certain restrictions apply. Teams may consists of 1~3
members per team and ask that all names be listed with your submission. You must use a robot. It can be figures but you
will be required to explain about your robot. There is no limit as to how many submission you can make each month and
even if you have won a certain month, you can re-enter again each month.
Registration
All registration must be done through the Gallery under “STEAM CUP” in the STEAMCUP.ORG website. Please use the
example format below to submit your work. Pictures and explanation about your robot are mandatory. We will offer 5 pts for
videos. Videos should be uploaded on YouTube first then use that link to post here. In case you are unable to upload your
video on YouTube, please upload your video file, and we will upload it for you.
The works of authorship contained in this website, including but not limited to all design, text and images (the “Materials”),
are owned by the author but may be copied, reproduced, transmitted, displayed, performed, distributed, rented, sublicensed,
altered, stored by subsequent use, or otherwise used in whole or in part in any manner without your prior written consent to
carry out the online and offline competition.

Judging Criteria
Submission will be accepted from the 1st until the last day of each month. The submissions will be judged on the first week
of each following month, and the winners will be announced no later than the second t week.. Our international committees will
judge each submission based on the criteria below. We will re-evaluate and compare creativity only for ties.

* You do not have to be 14 years or older to enter, but all minors are required to get parental approval before
entering this competition.
* Award will be offered in points which will be good to use on ROBOTIS online shop.
* Points are non-transferrable and cannot be refunded or changed into cash.
* For team submissions, the award will be rewarded to one person.
Etc
Disqualified submissions will NOT be automatically re-submitted for the next month`s competition. For those who are unable to upload videos on YouTube, please upload video files directly and we will upload it for you. Plagiarized, duplicate and improper submissions will be deprived of all honor and awards. Violent and obscene submissions will be deleted without notice.
PLAGIARIZED, DUPLICATE SUBMISSIONS, AND IMPROPER SUBMISSIONS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED WITHOUT NOTICE AND DEPRIVED OF ALL HONOR AND REWARDS.
